dna2Закончил сегодня замечательную книгу: Old Christmas: From the Sketch Book of Washington Irving. Факсимильное издание 1886 года. Простенькая книга по нынешним временам, читается как фэнтези или сказка. Однако примечательна она не только своим свойством создания праздничного настроения с помощью текста, но и замечательными иллюстрациями американца Рудольфа Калдекотта к лондонскому изданию 1875 года.
Всё вместе, текст и иллюстрации, являются единым целым, которое разъединить никак нельзя а надо воспринимать вместе.
Рекомендую для любителей очень старой литературы. ))
